On Monday, March 13th, meet Eleanor Roosevelt at the Phelps Mansion Museum’s Luncheon Program at 191 Court Street in Binghamton.
Eleanor Roosevelt will be portrayed by Patricia Clark. Clark studies history, accounts, letters, and diaries. From her research, she produces monologues and creates period costumes for the people she plays. Her goal is to make the listener feel that the visitor from the past stands before them, sharing a piece of their life.
Lunch starts at noon and the program starts at 1 p.m. Admission is $20 for the program and lunch. The program alone is $5. There will be coffee, tea, and cookies at the end of the program. Lunch reservations are required, and can be purchased online or by calling (607) 722-4873 by Friday, March 10th.
