The Phelps Mansion Museum
150th Anniversary Fund Raising Kick-off
Please join us for our kick-off fundraiser in honor of our upcoming 150th anniversary. The Phelps Mansion was built in 1870 and completed in December 1871. Purchased by the Monday Afternoon Club in 1905 and put on the register of Historic Buildings in 1973. It was in their care until 1989 when it became the Phelps Mansion Foundation. We became a 501(c)(3) Historic House Museum 15 years ago in 2005.
This year we are raising funds to preserve the mansion for many anniversaries to come.
We invite you for an evening full of food, entertainment, and a little history!
Thank you for supporting the Phelps Mansion Museum’s mission to preserve not only the last great house on what was once known as Mansion Row, but also to continue to share our history, support the arts, music and humanities.
A brief history of a Gilded Age New Year’s Eve will be given by Historian, Dr. Chelsea Gibson
Musical performance by
Andrea Gregori and Ivy Walz, Accompanied by Pej Reitz
They will offer operatic and holiday selections, along with some Irish and Italian art songs.
The historic Phelps Mansion will also be open for viewing of its holiday decorations on this evening as well.
