Join Tamera Manker Gates for a curator talk and tour on Friday March 4th. The museum will be open 6pm to 9pm and tours of the clothing and accessories on display will be offered at 7pm and 8pm. Admission is FREE.
“After 30 years of careful collecting of clothing and accessories, Tamara Manker Gates is exhibiting for the only time a collection of her best garments. They range from 1800 to 1920, and most of the items are very rare outside of museums. With the help of local dressmaker, Julia Adams, the collection is carefully exhibited and cataloged.”
