July First Friday

July 2, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

In 1883, governor Grover Cleveland appointed Isaac Perry to oversee construction activities at the state capitol. Although his official title was “Capitol Commissioner”, by the mid- to late 1880s Perry had oversight responsibility for all state government building programs. These buildings included numerous armories across the state.
Joe Schuerch will give a presentation about these armories at 7pm in our ballroom. As always our First Fridays are FREE and no reservations are necessary.
The mansion will be open from 6pm to 9pm for viewing
