Online History Happy Hour – The Binghamton Inebriate Asylum

$3 – $5Please join us for our first History Happy Hour of 2020! Due to continuing concerns about safety in the age of COVID-19, this will be a digital event hosted via Zoom. In other words, we bring the history, you bring the happy hour!
This event will be a conversation with Dr. Jonathan Jones, a historian of science and medicine. Jonathan recently conducted research on the Inebriate Asylum as part of his work on the Civil War opioid epidemic. Jonathan will talk a bit about his research, and then we will open it up to questions from the audience!
