On Monday, September 11 at 1 p.m., preservationist and photographer Roger Luther will present “Treasures of the Tier” at the Phelps Mansion Museum at 191 Court Street in Binghamton.
Luther’s presentation will feature rare interior photos, stories, and the current status of a few treasures in the Southern Tier. Luther has researched and photographed hundreds of historic buildings throughout the Southern Tier, and has worked to promote the preservation of many of its abandoned landmark structures, including the National Historic Landmark “New York State Inebriate Asylum” in Binghamton.
Admission to the luncheon and program is $20, and starts at 12 p.m. noon. If attending the program only, admission is $5, and starts at 1 p.m. Reservations are needed by Friday, September 8. To make a reservation, please call 607-722-4873, or go to phelpsmansion.org/events.
