Museum Membership

Welcome to the late 19th century at the Phelps Mansion Museum!

By becoming a member of the Phelps Mansion Museum you are helping to contribute to preserve and restore the history of the late 19th century through changing exhibitions and programming that we provide. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and established under the NYS Board of Regents as a museum in 2005, the Phelps Mansion Museum is a dedicated historic house museum for the Gilded and Progressive Eras in Central New York.

Our museum is a unique and exciting opportunity to experience what life was like in Binghamton, NY one hundred and forty five years ago. With your contribution and support we can continue our programs we can together preserve and share our community’s history.

We now offer two kinds memberships. Yearly and monthly Sustaining.

All Phelps Mansion Museum Members receive:

$2 discount on admission to the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, Discovery Center of the Southern Tier, Kopernick Observatory, and the Roberson Museum and Science Center.

$30 Individual ($25 student with valid college ID)

$50 Dual

The same as individual benefits for TWO in addition to:

  • Four guest passes for house tours

$75 Household

Individual & Dual benefits for one or two adults with minor children ages 3-12 in addition to:

  • Discounts on all family or child programming
  • Family welcome packet and activity sheets
  • Complimentary private family tour

$100 Supporting

Individual & Dual benefits in addition to:

  • Six guest passes for house tours
  • 20% discount in museum shop

$250 Patron

Supporting benefits in addition to:

  • Invitation to annual supporting museum members recognition reception
  • Advance registration for special programming and events

$500 Benefactor

Patron benefits in addition to:

  • Private house tour for up to 10 people
  • 2 complimentary passes for any museum event
  • 25% discount in museum shop
  • Noted as a benefactor supported at all museum events


$1000 Sustaining

Benefactor benefits in addition to:

  • Special behind the scenes tour for up to 12 people
  • 4 complimentary passes for any museum event
  • Private workshop demonstration
  • Noted as a sustaining supported at all museum events
